Garver’s Walkoff Gives Skyline Eagles Varsity Victory Over Stansbury.

A walk-off led Skyline Eagles Varsity past Stansbury 10-9 on Tuesday. Skyline Eagles Varsity trailed 9-8 in the bottom of the ninth inning when Jack Garver laid down a sacrifice bunt, scoring two runs.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as Skyline Eagles Varsity collected 13 hits and Stansbury 11
Stansbury captured the lead in the first inning. Stansbury scored one run when Buys singled with two outs in the first inning.
Skyline Eagles Varsity knotted the game up at eight in the bottom of the seventh inning. Jack Garver singled on a 0-2 count in the seventh inning, scoring one run.
Skyline Eagles Varsity scored three runs in the seventh inning. The big inning was thanks to a groundout by Seth Kaelin and a single by Garver.
Stansbury scored four runs in the sixth inning. The big inning for Stansbury came thanks to a error and a single by McHlesuse.
Blake Tomlinson earned the win for Skyline Eagles Varsity. He threw one inning, surrendering zero runs, one hit, striking out one, and walking zero.
Will Sala started the game for Skyline Eagles Varsity. He went three innings, allowing three runs, six hits, and striking out three.
Kaelin, Taylor Larson, and Dakota Porter each collected multiple hits for Skyline Eagles Varsity. Kaelin went 3-for-6 at the plate to lead Skyline Eagles Varsity in hits.
Buys, McTnlyre, and McTntyre each collected multiple hits for Stansbury.
