Skyline shoots a 279 at Gleneagle golf course and leads by 12 strokes after the first day at the State Championship. Farmington High School shot a 291 to take second, Corner Canyon shot a 292 to take third, Olympus shot a 295 for fourth place, and Viewmont shot a 297 for fifth place. Skyline leads by 12 strokes going to day 2, with all 7 guys under 76. The Eagles were led by Tyson Shelley and Joseph Kim who shot 3 under 69’s, Abe Thomas shot a 2 under 70, Sean Lam shot a 1 under 71. Simon Kwon shot a 1 over 73, Spencer Clayton shot a 2 over 74, and Philip Meima shot a 4 over 76, over all a great day for the Skyline Eagles.
