Skyline won the State Title by 19 strokes at Gleneagle golf course. After leading by 12 strokes after day one the Eagles expanded their lead by 7 more strokes on day two. Skyline shot a 290 on day 2 for a total of 569 to win first place. Farmington High School took second with a 588, Olympus took third with a 591, Corner Canyon shot 593 for fourth, Viewmont High School shot 603 for fifth. Tyson Shelley shot a 1 under 71 for a two day total of 140 and took second place overall. Joseph Kim shot a 2 over 74 for a 143 and fourth place overall. Simon Kwon shot an even par 72 and a 145 to tie Sean Lam for ninth place overall. Sean shot a two over 74 and a 145 totie for ninth. Abe Thomas shot a 78 for a two day total of 148. Philip Meima shot a one over 73 for a two day total of 149. Spencer Clayton had a two day total of 157, making the cut as a freshman. The young Eagles with 2 freshman, and 3 sophomores should have a bright future. A great season for this Skyline team with great leadership from the senior class, reached their goal of a State Championship.
